Smita is a trained Psychosocial Counsellor with a specialized focus in grief and bereavement counselling but she welcomes any individuals seeking support in navigating the challenges of life. This includes redefining personal relationships and dealing with emotional shifts that come with change.
Working very much with the individual in a holistic and person-centered way, Smita integrates different therapeutic approaches in her practice. She prioritizes each client’s unique needs, fostering an empathetic environment for open dialogue. Through collaboration, therapy is tailored to meet specific preferences, validating experiences and supporting self-discovery. A safe space empowers clients to explore challenges, find ways to cope and cultivate authenticity in the therapeutic relationship.
Smita holds three Masters degrees including an MA in Counselling from Webster University, Geneva and an MSc in Neuroscience from the Institute of Psychiatry at Kings College London. She is a member of the Swiss Association for Counselling (SGfB).
