Online Grief Workshop

Cancer Support Switzerland presents a new service called Psychoeducational workshop on Griedf

The two-hour psychoeducation workshop on grief, recurring three to four times annually, offers a vital platform for individuals grappling with bereavement due to cancer.

Centered on understanding the intricate process of grief and adapting to life without a loved one, the workshop provides attendees with essential insights and strategies.

Facilitated by trained counsellor Smita Singh, participants delve into the stages of grief, exploring the emotional, psychological, and physical aspects of loss. Attendees will gain a deeper comprehension of their grief journey and learn coping mechanisms to navigate the challenges of adjusting to life after the loss.

The workshop also fosters a supportive environment where participants can share experiences, find solace in mutual understanding, and cultivate resilience as they honor the memory of their loved ones while moving forward in their lives.

A minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 participants are required for this workshop and are taken on a first come basis. Once we reach this number, we will set a date and notify everyone involved. If you’d like to join the waitlist or express your interest, please send us an email at support@cancersupport.ch. We’ll be happy to keep you informed.
